This is the second time I have bought roller shutters from "Australian on line roller shutters" and I couldn't be more pleased with either the product or service. The installation is complete and it went very well. Having a scissor-lift was much better than scaffold and as you might expect, the second one went a lot quicker than the first! Hi Bob,
Just replying to your email. roller shutter arrived safely, and installation went well. I made a small hole in the top of the box for the controller wire to go through, this was an easier install as the cable could then be just dropped down the wall rather than drilling through the concrete. Very impressed with the unit.

It's nice to have someone check how their customers have gone with the install.
I have installed two rollershutters from your company, the first a couple of years ago and the second only recently.
Both installs went very well. None of the difficulties I encountered were due to the product. All the sizes of the delivered product where accurate to the millimeter of the ordered sizes.
My most recent installation was challenging due to the height on the wall. I was able to borrow a safety harness so was able to do the install myself without a scaffold.
On one of the attached photos you can see the older rollershutter in the background. From recollection that installation was flawless.
For the average DIY'er installing a kit rollershutter like the ones you supply is very achievable.
I still have a 3500W x 2100H window that I might be putting a shutter on in the future so you might hear from me again.

Just starting the installation on the last 2 I ordered much easier to paint eaves and woodwork before installing shutters the more you install the easier it gets learn all the things that make it easier like getting around window flashings feeding wires down channel the only thing that makes it hard is the hot weather but the back of the house is a hell of a lot cooler with the shutters makes a big difference the delivery time was excellent as usual and a top quality product well worth the investment and time installing them yourself can't believe how much some companies charge to install the same product any handyman can install them be in contact later as I have 2 more to order
